We have been using Cacoo for several years and are contemplating a move to Lucidcharts. What we are trying to determine is how much effort will be required and what the process would be to migrate our existing charts over.

Anyone ever do this? Have suggestions?

Thanks

Hi Jim

Thanks for your post. Although there is not a Cacoo to Lucidchart mass export function available you do have the ability to export your Cacoo diagrams as a Visio file and then import them into Lucidchart. I hope this helps!

Adam

Unfortunately there is no ability to export to Visio. Cacoo can import Visio but exporting is not available. Their recommendation is to export to SVG and then import the SVG to Visio (or Lucidchart).  I tried that but the SVG is treated like an image and is not editable (other than size) and none of the text comes through.

Hey Jim you're correct in that SVG import will treat the diagram as an image. We also support Gliffy (.gxml .gliffy) Draw.io (.xml) and Omnigraffle (.graffle .graffle.zip) import if that is an option for you.
