After adding and successfully installing lucidchart as an extension to google docs.
The extension does not appear on the add on drop menu

Hi @adam m102 thanks for posting in the community! There was an update to the Google add-on and the location to open the add-on has changed. You should now be able to find this along the side panel in Google Docs. I've attached a screenshot below for reference:
