Is there a way to freeze a column in Lucidchart? I use it often for process mapping and the column to the right tends to be cut out of view when there's a complex process map with various positions.

You can freeze any shape chart or column into a certain position using the lock feature. To learn more about this feature please refer to this Help Center article.
You can access this by right clicking on the shape and selecting the lock options in the drop down menu:
You can also lock objects by selecting the lock icon in your toolbar:
