Hi @ken kaufman l thank you for posting in the community - I'm happy to help! The properties of shape data will not appear if you do not have shape data applied to any of your shapes on your canvas. 

To add data to a shape first select it and open the contextual panel found on the top right corner of the editor. From there please try adding a new data field to your shape.

Once you add this to your shapes you should be able to select a Property field from the drop down box in the Conditional Formatting window.
