Hi,

im Kinda new into Lucid chart, is it supposed to be bit laggy when working from an Edge Browser?

It feels really uncomfortable (e.g. i move my Object with my mouse and it dropps of like 20cm away from the position i really wanted). I came origirnally from Visio.

Is that the normal Case? If yes, just tell me, so i can unsubscribe and check for new Software.

Thanks and greetings.

Hi @NoTimeNoNerfs90, thank you for posting in the community! The behaviour you’ve described is not expected. As a first step, I would recommend trying the following:

  • Make sure you're using the most recent version of your browser.
  • Lucid is optimized for Google Chrome. For best performance, we recommend using Chrome.
  • Try opening Lucid in a private or incognito window.

I also highly recommend checking the following Help Center articles which have more details on optimizing Lucid performance:

Please let me know if you’re still experiencing performance issues after trying the above, or if you have any questions!

I am experiencing similar issue. While making a network map its getting increasingingly laggy the more objects I add. I use the latest Chrome browser on a laptop with 32GB RAM, i7 1360P, Nvidia RTX A500. Fully updated/patched Windows 11. It just shouldn't lagg like it does.

Hi @Conny Lindqvist, thank you for continuing this thread and sorry to hear you’re experiencing a similar issue. To confirm, is this happening to this specific network map that you’re working on? Does it still lag when you open the document in a private or incognito window?

If the issue persists, we’d love to take a closer look at your board. Can you please share the temporary Support PIN for this board? This will allow me to take a closer look at the issue you’re experiencing.

For more information on generating a Support PIN, check out this Help Center article. This Support PIN doesn’t allow anyone but Lucid Support to take a look at your document, so you are safe to post it here.

Let me know if you have any questions, thank you!
