Hello

Is there a keyboard short cut that would simulate all this with a single press:

1. Press on red dot stating "Drag a line from this shape".

2. Open menu for selecting next object to be added in line.

3. Add that object and connect to it. Ideally it would duplicate previous object and connect them.
It would be ideal if shortcut could copy previous object. But even if there is shortcut for only first two steps it would be helpful.

Thanks in advance
Matija Zorboski.

Hi Matija

Thanks for posting in the community! The exact shortcuts you've listed are not currently available in Lucidchart however you are able to click a shape and then use Ctrl/⌘-Shift-Arrow Keys to duplicate the current shape. This will put a copy of the current shape directly adjourning your current shape in the direction of your Arrow Key. We're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that. Would you mind adding your idea to our feature request form? This form allows our team to categorize like requests and bring them to our product team. Thanks in advance for your request!

Hi all! Just jumping in here with an update, this function is now supported in Lucidchart! Using the keyboard shortcut Option + Arrow, Lucidchart will duplicate the currently selected shape and connect the two shapes with an arrow. Feel free to add your questions about this functionality to this thread. You can learn more about keyboard shortcuts in the Top Lucidchart Shortcuts blog post.
