I have a Lucid Spark board that goes back to the beginning of the year - it looks like this…

Full View of Board

Each card is a link to a Jira epic - the epic starts on the left hand side and once planned it goes onto the board. Each vertical column is a sprint since the beginning of the year. Each swim lane is a separate jira project. Starting last week Thursday/Friday (I don’t recall which day) the cards linked to one project have all blanked out - both within the side container and within the dynamic table.

The cards display an image icon in the upper left corner and a spinning circle in the lower right. They’re blank of data. For example - the top card is from another jira project and it displays appropriately while the bottom card does not…

Data Missing within Container

Same goes for the data in the dynamic table…

Data Missing Within Dynamic Table

These cards have had existing data since the beginning of the year. So I’ve effectively lost 9 months of data at this time.

Troubleshooting steps I’ve done…

  1. Refresh the browser
  2. Close browser and re-open
  3. Shut machine (mac pro) down and re-open
  4. Verified other users have the same experience
  5. Copy and paste a jira story link and that works
  6. Copy and paste a jira epic link into another Lucid Spark - it works - copy same link in my board - does not work

Example of 6…

Copy Epic Link into Another Spark Board - Works!
Copy Same Epic Link into Current Spark Board and Blank Data

Doesn’t appear to be the integration link to Jira as the Jira integration works with other Spark boards. Therefore it appears to be an issue isolated to this one Spark board. In addition, other Jira projects do still show up on the board. Also, Jira stories for that project will appear on the Spark board.

Thanks,

Rick

Hi @Rickajr, thank you for reporting this. Our team is aware of this widespread issue and is actively investigating with urgency. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and your team!

We have confirmed that the problem is consistently reproducible for Epics. Could you please let us know if you are experiencing it with other issue types as well?

We are working on an urgent resolution to fix the issue and restore your document's state. We will post status updates in this thread as they become available.

Thanks @Richard Udell for the reply.

In my experience we are only seeing the problem with epics - so far... if we use stories, spikes, tasks, etc. then those are good. 99% of my integration use is at the epic level, but I can do some additional testing to confirm - normally when we get to the story level we’re using Lucid to break down an epic using some brainstorming techniques and then converting the results into Jira from the Lucid board.

Thanks,

Rick
