I have been using lucid chart to do a diagram and have uploaded a few pictures with no issues. however now when I try to upload any kind of image regardless what it is saved as the image will fail to load. Is there a finite number of images you can put into a chart even if this is a paid-for account? or is this some error?

Hi Richard thanks for posting in the Lucidchart Community! If you are unable to upload images it is possible your storage is full. You can check how full your storage is in your Access and update account settings article. Images take up the most space in your account. If you are running out of room it is recommended that you clear out as many images as you can from both your documents and your Image Manager. You can access your Image Manager by clicking the image icon next to the magnifying glass above your shape library.

For more information on how to manage images in Lucidchart please take a look at the Add and customize shapes in Lucidchart article from our help center.

For more information on how much storage space is available for the different account types please refer to the Lucidchart plans article from our help center.

If these tips do not solve this issue please reach out via this form and include the following information so we can take a closer look:

  • The URL of the document you are trying to insert the image into.
  • The image you are trying to insert.
  • A screenshot of the associated Javascript Console output after attempting to insert the image. You can open your Javascript Console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+J (if your computer is a Windows/Linux) OR Cmd+Opt+J (if your computer is a Mac).

Hope this help!
