Every contact in the organizational chart being designed has a hyperlink destination (a Linkedin profile address). How can I create the document so that one can click on the box the follow the hyperlink when I am using this in display mode? I am looking for a universal answer. With 100s of name this has to be someone done globally.

You can import an active link into an org chart as a custom employee field if you include it as a column on your spreadsheet. You may want to shorten the links because the whole link will show up. Currently this is the only way to accomplish what you're describing. However we're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that. Would you mind adding your idea to our feature request form? Ideas submitted to this form are passed on to the product development team for their consideration.
