I am trying to import a Visio VSTX file and am getting an error.  Any suggestions?

    Hi Steve

Thanks for your post. In order to import your Visio file you need to use one of the approved file extensions such as VSD or VSDX. I recommend checking out this article for more information.

Here is a good community post with some Visio import tips!

OK my company dropped Visio for Lucid Chart.   I have .VSTX files I need to work with.   The content of my VSTX files have now been orphaned.  I am wasting a lot of time trying to find someone (in my secure corporate environment) with Visio to convert the files so I can use them in Lucid.

There appears to be many cloud based tools to convert .VSTX files.    Can Lucid provide some secure mechanism to convert .VSTX files?

Not happy with our IT department or Lucid.

    Hi Robert

We do not import .vstx files directly into Lucid but if the file can be converted to .vsd or .vsdx we will be able to import those extensions.
