If i make a copy via the app is this a standalone?

Hello If i make a copy on my app of a chart And a new chart is created cslled “copy off xyz” I just want to confirm this is a standalone copy So that if i delete items in the copy The original remains unedited Is this correct?

Hey there thanks for posting in the Lucidchart Community! You are correct the original document will not be affected by any changes made to the copy even if the copy is deleted. Likewise the copy willl not be affected by the original document.
