How to turn off auto-shaping of lines?

For the life of me I cannot figure out to draw a normal line in Lucidchart. 

 

Here is what I'm trying to:

I want a simple three-legged line with two right arrows. But no matter how I adjust the middle squares it always corrects it to a two-legged line like this:

I tried turning off the line settings under Page Settings and looking through the docs but I can't figure out how to this. I had this same problem about a month ago when trying this tool and eventually gave up and used another tool. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there Phil thanks for reaching out! To transform the two-legged line into a three-legged line simply click on the line and then drag the square that appears in the bottom half as seen in this gif:

If that doesn’t work could you try opening your document in a private or incognito browser window and see if that solves the issue? If the issue persists could you answer the following questions to help me understand this issue better:

  • Is this happening in all of your documents or in a specific document?
