I can't seem to find a way to hide the hotspots which make the design look ugly. Is there a setting to always hide or show the hotspots so I can see my elements properly?

Hi there thanks for the post. You can edit the opacity of hotspots to remove them from your design as seen below:
Please note that hotspots will not appear in exported or published views. Hope this helps!
