I believe that the template preview is used to show what is possible with the template but may not automatically have all those elements when clicking on it. If it was possible to get access to all the elements, I imagine that could require an extra cost. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.
Hi @AGFunes
If you're not seeing all the elements from the preview once you select the "Sprint Retro - New" template in Lucidchart, here's what you can try to resolve the issue.
1. Check Your Plan
- First, verify what Lucidchart plan you’re on (Free, Individual, Team, or Enterprise). Some templates and features are only fully accessible with premium plans. If you're on the free or a lower-tier plan, the missing elements could be related to limited access to premium templates. Upgrading your plan may provide access to all features of the template. See more information here: Lucidchart Plans – Lucid
2. Double-Check Template Selection
- Ensure you are selecting the correct template (e.g., "Sprint Retro - New") from the template gallery. Occasionally, similar templates might have different content or layouts.
3. Check Hidden Layers or Containers
- Some templates might include content within layers or containers that are collapsed or hidden by default. Expand all layers and containers to see if the missing elements are there. You can do this by opening the layers panel and ensuring no layers are hidden.
4. Template Update or Variations
- Templates may vary between updates or have slight differences depending on your Lucidchart version or settings. Try refreshing the page and selecting the template again to ensure it loads properly.
Hope this helps!

Ria
This is all helpful, thank you everyone!
Hi @AGFunes ,
Thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! To help me better understand the issue you are experiencing, can you please send a screenshot of the template preview you are trying to use, and a screenshot of how the template looks when you open it?
Thank you for your help and patience!
