I may have missed it in the documentation... how would one control the format of a number resulting from a formula?

Thanks for your post! You can use the "round" function to accomplish this use case. Our Help Center article about Formulas provides some examples of how to use it within a property you apply to a shape. Please let me know if you have further questions.
