Hello Lucid Community,

I am encountering a problem with creating an interactive mind map in Lucidchart.

Specifically, I need a smart mind map where nodes can be expanded or collapsed, and each node can have associated icons as well as additional information (such as external links, documents, video links with thumbnails, etc.). However, I am struggling to link these contents (icons) and supplementary information to the nodes so that they only appear when the node is expanded and move along with the node when it expand.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

In the meantime, you may find a combination of layers and actions helpful for your use-case. You can add information to different hidden layers, and use the actions feature to create ‘buttons’ to toggle those layers on/off to reveal the additional information.
