I’m relatively new to Lucid, and have a file containing multiple tabs, some of which contain multiple layers.

I have unhidden a layer on a tab (Eye symbol) and want to export that tab as a PNG. However, when I do this, the visible layer is not included in the output PNG.

(I’ve also tried simply copying the contents of the tab - Ctrl + A, then Ctrl + C - then pasting it into a document, but again, the visible layer is not included. I’ve also tried exporting a JPEG.)

Help appreciated,

Hi @paulmoloney, thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! I’m happy to take a closer look. When you print or export a document with layers it will automatically make all layers visible and on top of each other. To fix this, switch the views of layers the way you would like it to appear when it’s printed/exported, and then click “sync visibility” in the layers manager. “Sync visibility” may also help if you are not seeing a layer in your export as you would expect.

For more information about layers, I would recommend referring to this article from the Lucid Help Center. Please let me know if the issue persists!

Thanks!  I thought the “Sync visibility” button from its name was simply about which layer is visible when the doc is initially opened.
