All,

I create simple flowcharts in ERM (one diagram per page). All I want is to have a header above my flowchart that automatically takes the document name, has created date and my name as the creator.

How do I achieve this? I am reading about master pages but I do not have multiple pages. Each document is one page doc for me.

Hi @sumertiwari, thanks for posting in the Community!

You can work with templates to achieve this:

  1. Create a new blank Lucidchart document.
  2. Under Insert add the “Creator name”, “Created date and time” and “Document title” to your document:

  3. Arrange these shapes on the canvas as desired.
  4. Select File > Convert to template.
  5. To create new documents from this template, you can either
    1. Click on New on the template in your documents listIn your documents list
      OR
    2. Navigate to +New > Lucidchart > Create from Template. You can then find the template under Created by me.

The fields added in step #2 will dynamically adjust for each new document created from this template.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions 😊.
