Currently no matter what I change, when I publish my diagram the hotspots are visible. From everything I've been reading they should not appear when the diagram is published.
What would I need to update to have those not appear when publishing other then changing the opacity of the shape?

Hi @LCG, thank you for posting in the community! Would you mind sharing a brief description of what you added to your hotspots (eg. URL, action)? If possible, could you also share an example screenshot of how the hotspots are visible? Please feel free to censor any important information! These details will help me take a closer look at the issue you’re experiencing.
Thanks for your help and please let us know if you have any questions!
The hotspots are using Actions to show one layer and hide another layer.
Example: Click the hotspot for “WWW” on Layer “ALL” Shows what the website connects to. Click the hotspot for “WWW” on the Layer “WWW” and it shows “ALL”.
On Load:
Upon First Click:
Then when I click that layer again to hide the layer ever hot spot appears. I cannot share that screenshot due to sensitive information.
Hi @LCG, thank you for sharing more details! It sounds like you have set the example ‘WWW’ shape to toggle the layers, is this correct? If possible would you mind sharing a screenshot of what you’ve configured for the actions for that button? This will help me take a closer look on my end.
If possible, could you please share the temporary Support PIN for this document? This will allow me to take a closer look at the issue you’re experiencing. For more information on generating a Support PIN, check out this Help Center article. This Support PIN doesn’t allow anyone but Lucid Support to take a look at your document, so you are safe to post it here. You are also welcome to DM the PIN to me via the Community - please let me know if you choose to do this.
Thank you for your help and please feel free to let us know if you have any questions!
Above is the requested screenshot for the actions on the WW button.

Hi @LCG, thank you for sharing that information and apologies for the delay! I was able to reproduce the issue and it looks like this is happening due to a bug with the Hotspot shape, layers and publishing. I have reported this to our development team.
As a workaround, if you remove the hotspot shape and instead, apply the Show/Hide action directly to the ‘WWW’ shape, the hotspot should no longer be visible in the published version. I understand this may require you to reapply all the actions/hotspots that you have but this is the best way to ensure the hotspots don’t appear in your published diagram.
I apologize for any disruption this may cause, and I will update this thread with any new information about a fix. Please follow along on this thread for updates, and post any additional questions or concerns below.
I appreciate the update. I’ll have to talk to our team to see what they want to do.
There’s almost 50 hotspots that would need to be updated, and I am not sure if we want to spend the extra time it would take to make that update. As its taken us a lot longer then we wanted to get to this point. As we lost a couple of days work just trying to figure out the hotspot issue.
Do you have any sort of ETA on when this bug would be resolved? As this would probably dictate our decision. We’d like to get this in front our entire team, but if its confusing to use we might just need to scrape the project.
Hi @LCG, thank you for following up and apologies for the trouble. Unfortunately, I am not able to share any ETAs at this time. I will update this thread as soon as I hear any new information about a fix from our development team. Please follow along on this thread for updates, and post any additional questions or concerns below.
