I would like to have an arrow originate from the middle of a shape instead of from the edge. In this case I want the arrow to originate from a button that is in the middle of a screenshot. I want to be able to move this object and have the arrow follow with it.

Hi Gabrielle - Thanks for reaching out! Lucidchart allows you to add arrows to any part of a shape. Instead of dragging an arrow from the actual shape simply drag an arrow from your shape library and place it in your desired location. Let me know if this helps!
