All of my boxes have these grey circles next to them - they aren't individually selectable and are related to the boxes. The icon menu just places another icon in a different corner. Help!

Thanks for reaching out on the Lucidchart Community! It looks like these might be Dynamic Shapes which can be set up through Conditional Formatting rules. I have attached a gif that explains where conditional formatting rules can be found how to see them and how they can be unapplied from all of your shapes.
If this does not resolve the issue could you please submit a ticket via this form with the doc URL as well as a screenshot and detailed description of the issue so that we can take a better look?
