font color is always lighter - and not able to change
My texts use a greyed-out color when I use black, and when I choose a different color like blue, the color is lighter than the pallet; I can`t find a configuration to make it regular, like standard black, or bold black; the lighter colors make difficult for the people receiving the document read the text.
I have a paid account, bellow the example, the chosen color is black, but it is not black it is grey

Hi @andersofe
The behavior you’ve described, where text appears lighter than the selected color (e.g., black appearing as grey or other colors appearing muted), could be related to the text color and transparency settings. You can verify the transparency level of the text in your document. Even if the color appears as black, a transparency setting above 0% can make it look grey. Select the text, navigate to the Text Properties panel, and check the transparency slider (it should be set to 0% for full opacity).
Also, some documents may use default themes or styles that adjust colors for consistency. Check if the document theme is overriding your selected colors. You can adjust the theme by clicking on the icon on the left pane to ensure your selected colors are not modified. See screenshot below:
I hope this helps!
Hi Ria,
First, thanks for your reply, but I couldn't find this transparency setting. Could you kindly indicate where I can see it?
I tried to change the theme but the problem persisted, I changed to Chalk and default but no success
I found the transparency option, but even in 100%, it still grey-out the text
Hi @andersofe, thank you for posting in the community! Just to confirm, is this happening in a specific document or is this across all documents? Would you mind also confirming if you are using a custom font or one our default ones such as Liberation Sans?
If the issue persists, could you please share the temporary Support PIN for this document? This will allow me to take a closer look at the issue you’re experiencing.
For more information on generating a Support PIN, check out this Help Center article. This Support PIN doesn’t allow anyone but Lucid Support to take a look at your document, so you are safe to post it here.
Let me know if you have any questions, thank you!
I am using the Liberation Sans font, and I think it started when I used a shape with a lighter text, but now all texts are lighter, even when I just click and start writing, and the only way to make it darker is paint the format from another old text and past on the new text that is not a ideal solution

Hi @andersofe, thank you for sharing that information! It sounds like you may have accidentally set the default style for your document to the lighter version from the shape you used before.
I unfortunately was not able to locate the change that caused your text to become opaque. However, this can easily be fixed by changing the default style of your document.
To do this, please right-click a shape that has the style you'd like as default and select 'Set default style' from the menu. In this case, you’d want to do this with a shape that has solid black font colour.
Once this is done, all new shapes added to the board will then have the same style applied to them.
Please let me know if this doesn't work for you, or if you have any questions. Hope this helps!
Thanks, issue fixed
Thank you for the update, @andersofe! Glad to hear that fixed the issue. Please feel free to create another topic if you have any questions or anything you’d like to discuss -- we love hearing from everyone!
