I've imported an ERD from Visio Pro (which cannot gen SQL) to try and create DDL to use to create a database schema. But sql window is blank regardless which database output I select. I need to create in SQL Server.
Export from ERD does NOT generate sql

Thanks for posting in the community. Our ERD export only works for diagrams generated using our ERD shape library. When you import a diagram from Visio it imports your shapes as custom shapes not ERD shapes. Therefore the export will not work.
If you recreate the diagram using our ERD shape library the export should work as expected. Hope this helps!
Hi it does help and thanks for the reply. Is there anyway to move entity metadata from imported to a native entity shape-type or do I have to rebuild?
