I am laying out a database using ERD using entity relationship shapes.  I have some tables that are linked to many other tables (for example a User table and just about every other table has a LastUpdatedBy which points to the User table).  It's a lot of lines connecting back to the User table.  Plus I have not gotten into adding multiple sheets.  Is it possible to add a some sort of a reference to the user table without drawing a line back to the table but the model knows that it's still linked?

Unfortunately what you are trying to do is not currently supported in Lucidchart. However we're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that. Would you and anyone else interested in this feature mind adding it to our feature request form? Ideas submitted to this form are passed on to the product development team for their consideration.


As a growing company we take our feature requests very seriously. We are continuously looking for how we can make our product more useful and effective for our users and we pass that information directly to our product development team.
