Hello.
What if 2026 was the year Lucid Cards evolved to the next level? Lucid Cards 2.0. What improvements can be made? What is missing from the card details?

-Transform the simple description field into a description box with formatting options as seen right here with this description box I am typing in right now. Or the one used in the web version of Trello or Slack.
-Introduce subtasks or a checklist feature. If each card title becomes a task then it makes sense to incorporate subtasks.

-Introduce a 1-4 star rating system option so we can customize columns accordingly. Right now we can only customize a column in the dynamic table feature based on a thumbs up/thumbs down emoji or a single star emoji. Let’s take the rating capability to the next level.

-Single select field. So we can customize dynamic table columns according to day of the week or seasons or family member or holiday. Having this in the card details would be a timesaver instead of coming out and going to the tags feature to do it. Too much back and forth.
-Priority option. Same thing- we can use the tags feature to list: Priority 1, Priority 2…but its too much back and forth.

Any more ideas…

I would like to replace project management apps that utilize cards with a board/kanban view because of how their app behaves in comparison to Lucidspark but Lucidspark lacks that amount of fields they have.
-Lucidspark doesn’t tilt their cards when moving them around. 👍
-Lucidspark doesn’t shrink/collapse then expand their cards when moving them from one spot on the board to another. 👍
-Lucidspark doesn’t have a noticeable blinking animation when the card quickly reappears in the new spot after shrinking when being moved. 👍

What if the Add Comments feature in the top right corner of a Lucidspark board was retconned to become a general notification centre? Or add a separate notification centre was introduced for Lucid cards?
Yes you can add a comment and assign a task to a sticky note. But it doesn’t make sense when it comes to Lucid cards. We have already assigned the card to someone. We don’t need to assign a comment to the same person just to assign a task. The card is the task.
So what if there was a new built-in comment section to the Lucid card? What if the card had a completion box and we were notified when its checked off?
