I created an org chart in Lucid and embedded it in a WordPress page on our Intranet. It’s worked fine since. This morning, an employee showed me that it was NOT working now. Instead of the embedded org chart, there is now a screen that says “You’ll need to log in to access Lucid.”

I went into my Lucid account, chose embed again, and copied and pasted that into the page, which still displays the login screen.

Hi @esealpha

It could be because of the sharing permissions - Anyone with the link can view, If your Org-level settings restrict public or anonymous sharing, even previously working embeds will stop working without reconfiguring share permissions.

Kindly check on that front once.

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards

That's fine. But I’m not sharing technically. I am embedding, and embedding automatically makes it public. Even so, I have changed nothing. This same link has worked for years. And suddenly, it has stopped working despite no one changing anything.

Hi @esealpha

Thanks for getting back to me with that additional information.

I believe you have identified a bug, and I have reported this to our development team. I apologize for any disruption this may cause, and I will update this thread with any new information about a fix. Please follow along on this thread for updates, and post any additional questions or concerns below.

Thanks for your patience!

Well, that’s no good. Any idea why it would just start doing this? As I noted above, it’s been fine for years.

Hi @esealpha ,

Thanks for your understanding. Bugs like this can sometimes occur following new updates to Lucid, but our development team is working diligently to resolve it as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and will keep you updated as soon as we have a resolution so you can get back to using your embedded chart without interruption.
