Default Template Folder

I have a custom template that I use for 99% of my diagrams.

When I need to create a new diagram I go to the folder I want the file saved in right click then say "New from Template"

This opens up to the "All Templates" tab to the "Popular" section. I never use any of these. I then need to click on Lucidchart tab -> Personal -> Select my custom template.

This is a clunky workflow to me so I am hoping there is a way to have it automatically go to my personal template folder. Otherwise can I add my templates to this default "Popular" section and remove the other noise in there?

Hi @mike h101 thanks for posting in the community! Unfortunately customising the templates window is not currently supported in Lucid.

However you can quickly create a document from a template by locating it in your 'My Documents' page and double-clicking it. A new document will be created using that template and will be placed in the same folder the template is located.

Once you have finished working on your document you can easily move your new document to the desired folder by right-clicking the document and selecting 'Move to' in the menu.
