I've created a "custom shape" from a group of shapes (used as a Key). When dragged to the "Shapes Library" only one shape in the group appears in the preview making it hard to identify. Is this a known bug?

Also it would be helpful to have the option of viewing shapes by "Name" in addition to thumbnail.

Thanks for posting in the community. The issue you are describing--where a group of shapes added to a custom shape library don't show in the preview--is not a known reproducible issue. To start I'd recommend deleting the custom shape from your library (from within the Shapes Manager) and re-adding it to see if that clears up the issue with the preview.
You can enable the setting to view shapes by name in addition to thumbnail by selecting View>Shapes Panel>Icons and Text.
