I used to be able to export to PDF from a LucidSpark board and use Custom Crop to get just the part I wanted. But now when I try it (from any board) I still get the entire board exported to the PDF. Is the function broken?

Thanks for posting in the Community! I believe you have identified a bug and I have reported this to our development team. I apologize for any disruption this may cause and I will update this thread with any new information about a fix.
As a workaround I recommend exporting using another format and converting the file once downloaded. Please follow along on this thread for updates and post any additional questions or concerns below.
