Create a new Team

I am having trouble creating a new team with my company's account. I am an admin user however when I try to make a new team it only allows me to create a subgroup of the existing Team. Is this a limitation on our account? I look forward to your response.

Hi Julian

Thanks for reaching out in the Lucidchart community. If you are on the company's larger account then you will only be able to create groups and subgroups composed of the users on the account.

You can learn more about this in the Group Management Article from the Help Center (it goes into more detail and points out that you will always have one Team by default but you can create an unlimited amount of groups and subgroups).

If you would like your team to be completely separate it would need to be on its own account. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
