I would like to know if there is a way to convert employee cards from auto generate Excel org charts into contact cards for Salesforce. The current format of the org chart from Excel lists all contacts as employees, but is there a function to convert them to contacts?

Hey @jacki -- thanks for posting! I would recommend checking out our Salesforce integration and determine if this fits the bill for you use case. If this isn’t quite what you’re looking for, let me know, I’d be happy to take a closer look!

Phillip,
I am aware that I can create a new contact in Lucidchart by manually inputting the contact information. However, I am wondering if there is a way to automatically transform employee data from an Excel-generated org chart into contact cards in Lucidchart, which can then be created in Salesforce.

Hey @jacki -- thank you for the response! So, you can certainly create an Org Chart from an Excel dataset, however, there is no way to convert that Org Chart into contact cards. You can, however, import your dataset into Lucidchart and utilize it to create contact cards and then manually create an account map. You could also import your dataset into Salesforce and then utilize the Salesforce integration with Lucidchart to create cards and account maps.

Let me know if these options would work for you -- if not, give me a shout back, I’d be happy to look into this a bit further!
