I was wondering if it was possible to have a document live in google drive and collaborate on it.
It seems like im only able to upload a copy of the document to google drive and it does not see changes that are made afterward.

Thanks for posting! Documents synced with current Lucidchart documents are updated automatically. You cannot edit a Lucidchart document strictly from Google Drive. The best way to collaborate on a Lucidchart diagram is to use the Lucidchart editor itself! Check out this article on Lucidchart collaboration for more information.
