Changing legnth of a curve

It seems that once I change a line to have curvature there is no way to shorten it.

I tried reverting the figure back to straight line and reducing but when I switch is back to a curve the original length persists.

Thank you for posting in the community! You should be able to lengthen and shorten curved lines.

For example here is a curved line.

And here is an elongated version of that curved line.
