Change Shape to CIRCLE not oval

I have a diagram currently using rounded rectangles. I want to change them to circles not ovals. To do so I first adjusted the rectangles to be squares and then RClick>ChangeShape>Circle. However the new shape defaults to an oval (with vertical height longer than the original square height) rather than a circle as the shape selector would suggest. I have tried holding Shift+Click when selecting the circle no luck with that. I can't find any help on this issue.

Hi Tim

Thanks for posting in the community! Unfortunately the shape of the rounded rectangle generally transitions to an oval shape when converted to a circle. This is because the rounded rectangle shape is normally sized to be longer vertically than it is horizontally. Unfortunately there is no automatic fix to this but you can manually resize the shapes before or after changing the shape to a circle. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes! Let me know if you have any further questions.
