Hi Stacey you can easily move shapes from a main page to a layer by selecting them right-clicking and choosing "Move to Layer." You can choose to either create your layers prior to moving your objects or you can create layers as you go by choosing "+ New Layer."

Note however that if you're moving content from other pages into layers but you ultimately want all layers associated with just your main page you will first need to copy the objects from your other pages onto your main page. If you do not copy the content from the other pages over the layer you move them to will still be associated with that other page.

Ok you just confused me at the end about copying.  I will try to find out answers from another source

Hi Stacey apologies for the confusion. That's correct - all content that is currently on your separate pages would be copied in its entirety to the main page then converted to a layer. I've demonstrated this with the GIF below:

Ok maybe now you can explain why it is not letting me copy.  I can highlight everything but won't let me copy

Is it because I have hotspots within that page???  Is there anyone live that can look at my project and give me exact direction

Hi Stacey hotspots should not prevent you from copying and pasting your content. Can you please clarify what you are experiencing when you attempt to copy your objects from your other pages? Are you not able to choose "Copy" from the menu or are you unable to paste your objects after attempting to copy them?
