Using Data Linking in a chart ok. There are description fields I would like to include via a tooltip though my understanding is the best option since tooltips are not supported is to use Notes.

Is there anyway I can use Data Linking with a Note? If not is there any solution to displaying linked data via a tooltip like interface?

Hi Todd

Thank you for contributing to the Lucid Community! You can display data within a note in the same way you would display data within a shape. First you must assign data to a shape (as described in the Assign data to an object section of our Data Linking in Lucidchart article in the Lucid Help Center) next you can add a note to the shape and selectto display a data field within the note (as described in the Display data on document components section of the same article).

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
