Hi,

I haven’t used LucidChart in a while, but when opening a previously saved ERD diagram, if a drag/move a previously created Entity (Key, Field, Type), the last column just collapses / hides.

It’s very very very disappointing for me, given the fact that this is a pricy product, and all sort of bugs seem to pop-up…

Browser: Chrome Version 138.0.7204.169 (Official Build) (arm64)
OS: MacOS Sonoma 14.7.5

I’ve also tried in Chrome (incognito) / Firefox, but with the same result.
When I create a new Entity (Key, Field, Type), if  drag it, it retains the shape.
The document has been created using Lucidchart.

I’ve also attached a screenshot with the JavaScript console output.

Thank you!

Hi @horas, thank you for posting in the community. To confirm is this only happening to a specific ERD document that you created in the past? It sounds like you tried creating a new ERD diagram in a new blank document and it didn’t happen there, is this correct?

Could you please share the temporary Support PIN for this document? This will allow me to take a closer look at the issue you’re experiencing. For more information on generating a Support PIN, check out this Help Center article. This Support PIN doesn’t allow anyone but Lucid Support to take a look at your document, so you are safe to post it here.

Thank you for your help and please feel free to let us know if you have any questions!

Hey,

Yes, it’s for diagrams already created.
I tried copy-pasting or duplicating the documents, but still the bug reproduces.

I’ve sent to you, in private, the support pin.

Hi @horas, thank you for sharing that information and the support PIN. I was able to reproduce the behaviour you described. I believe you have identified a bug, and I have reported this to our development team. I apologize for any disruption this may cause, and I will update this thread with any new information about a fix.

In the meantime, would you mind confirming if this is happening to other ERD documents that you created before as well? Or is this the only document where you’ve noticed this behaviour? This information will help our team take a closer look.

Thank you for your help and patience. Please follow along on this thread for updates, and post any additional questions or concerns below.

Hi @Leianne C ,

In the meantime, would you mind confirming if this is happening to other ERD documents that you created before as well? Or is this the only document where you’ve noticed this behaviour? This information will help our team take a closer look.

Yes, it happens for all previously created ERDs.

Thanks!
