Hi,
I am trying to add information from the advanced options of BPMN 2.0 shapes to custom shape data via a formula. Any idea which function to use for that?
Thanks!

Hi
Please let me know if you have any further questions or if that resource does not have what you are looking for, and I would be happy to help!
Hi
thanks for your reply, this is a helpful first step! Do you have any advice on how I can access these properties in the formula editor, I am failing to find a function that lets me access them.
Background of what I am trying to achieve: I am trying to add the shape properties to a custom data field on a shape which I can then use to create conditional formatting rules (e.g., highlight all manual activities in a process).
I guess it all boils down to whether or not it is possible to access the aforementioned shape properties from within Lucidchart itself or if this is only possible throught the API.
Thank you!
Hi
I recommend creating custom data fields by clicking the contextual panel icon on the far right of the toolbar > clicking ‘Data’ > scrolling down to ‘Custom Data’ and adding a new field. Here you can create custom data and link that data to shapes or other parts of your diagram, as described in the Link data to a Lucidchart document article from the Lucid Help Center.
Additionally, here is our documentation on Conditional Formatting that you may find helpful.
Please let me know if this information does not apply to what you are attempting to achieve, I’m happy to help!

That’s what I am trying to do. The only thing I am missing is the formula/function to retrieve the taskType
attribute.
Thank you!
Hi
Thank you for following up.
To clarify the current status of this issue, you have created your custom data fields and now are trying to display this data on your document.
I would suggest reviewing this section of our data-linking documentation to achieve this.
Hope this helps!
