Hi!

I have an issue with my BPMN chart and visualizing sub-processes. When adding the activity marker ‘sub-process’, the text in the task box moves up but no marker is visible. Depending on the length of the text in the box it might disappear completely.

How can I mark sub-processes correctly?

pre-adding the sub-process marker

post-adding the activity marker

The reason why text in the shape moves up when selecting Sub-Process as Activity Marker is because the activity marker actually does appear but has no colour.

For instance, here is a shape from a BPMN diagram when I also added Sub-Process as Activity Marker. Note the colour settings:

Now the shape when a colour has been picked, e.g. black:

Font size can be changed within the shape in order for it to fit along with the activity marker.

Make sure that you select the given shape(s) when making those changes.

Please let me know if you have any further questions about this!
