Is there a way to add a text box to an org chart? I'd like to add a brief explanation under a few of the boxes and couldn't figure out how to add text.

Thanks for reaching out in the community. You can simply drag a text box from the Standard shape library and place in on your canvas, adjacent to your org chart shapes. I have attached a GIF to demonstrate! I hope it helps.
Hi I have a similar question. I would like to add boxes with project information to the people in the org chart. However the above-mentioned tutorial does not seem to work anymore with the new Org Chart feature?
Hi Sebastian you should be able to add a text box to your diagram as shown in the GIF. However since Org Charts act as their own distinct group in Lucidchart the text box is not attached to the employee shape and acts separately from the org chart. This means that if you add or move employees you will need to manually move the text box.
