What should I do if some of the features I rely on are missing?
This beta introduces foundational changes to the Lucidchart editor experience, and as we move forward, changes are expected to be in progress.
While it’s possible you may notice an occasional gap in feature coverage during this phase, it’s important you let us know each time you encounter a missing feature. Our Product, R&D, and QA teams are closely tracking all feedback to understand exactly which tools our power users need the most. Your feedback directly informs and prioritizes our immediate, fast-follow development backlog.
How do I go back to the classic Lucidchart editor I used before?
To switch your editor view between the current and future editor:
- Click the three-line menu at the top-left of the editor.
- Select Classic editor.
Tip: You can also use a hotkey to temporarily toggle back to legacy Lucidchart—without turning off the override, on a per-session basis.
- PC: ctrl-alt-shift-N
- Mac: cmd-option-shift-N (⌘ ⌥ ⇧ N)
What guardrails are in place to protect my work during this phase?
Lucid’s core models remain fully functional to ensure your work is protected and sustained without disruption. These are models that enable:
- Basic diagramming
- File entry
- Data visualization
- Document management
If I participate in the beta, will Lucid store my data or use it to train AI models?
No. Lucid does not store your data and does not use it to train AI models.
