Hi,

Unfortunately, you removed the ability to filter data in the smart table… You can only filter with AI, but most of the time, simple column filtering doesn’t work or leads to a long discussion with the AI. It makes me lose time. Could you restore the ability to filter a smart table connected to a dataset manually?

It was simple: Smart Table Properties had an option filter. Section Table option → Filter : I selected the column I wanted to filter and added my query inside. For example, [selected Column] contains [Data]. It was simple and effective … In fact, what would be great is to have the possibility to filter like in Excel, the table on the board directly and not have this static table. My company don’t want to activate Excel two way sync because it is still in beta. Would it be possible to know when the plugin is going to be “oficial” so my company can activate it? Sorry if this question is out of the topic but that would simplify my use of Lucid quite a lot once this plugin is officially available not in beta. Thanks

Thanks for the detail here! That helps a lot, and I've shared your feedback directly with our product teams.

Regarding manual filtering, our team actually just released a fix for this! The missing Smart Table features, including filtering, should now be visible and available again in the contextual panel on the right-hand side. Could you try refreshing your document and checking that right panel to see if it's appearing as expected for you?

On Excel two-way sync: I spoke with our product and engineering teams and we currently don't have a specific timeline for when it will move out of beta. I'd recommend keeping an eye on our Release Notes for announcements, and I'll be sure to update this thread as soon as I hear anything new from the team.
