Hello.

I’m trying to make a flowchart visual that is interactive. I would like to be the only owner and editor, but to have a couple other users able to add comments, click buttons that could progress the flow chart and for it to save the state of the flowchart. I want to use this as a “current state” of our project/process, that we can all view and stay informed on.

  1. Is it possible to accomplish this with LucidChart?
  2. What is the best way to go about this?

Thank you,

Hi @deepwater, thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! Yes, this can be done in Lucidchart! The links below are from the Lucid Help Center and have more details on how to use these features.

I would recommend creating a share link with “Can Comment” permissions or publishing your document for users who do not have a Lucid account. You can then add actions to your chart, which allows you to turn any object on your canvas into a button that triggers activity such as toggling the visibility of your document’s layers or conditional formatting rules. You can also link your shapes to external web pages or to another Lucidchart document.

Let me know if you have any additional questions!
