Can I import a UML diagram created via some other tool (say PlantUml) in a lucid document through its api.
If so then what will be its import format and will it be editable ??

While Lucidchart doesn't offer a direct API for importing UML sequence diagrams from other tools like PlantUML, you can still bring your diagrams into the platform.
To do so, simply manually type or paste your UML markup into Lucidchart. This will allow you to import your sequence diagram, which can then be edited and customized to your needs. You'll have the flexibility to modify shapes, labels, and other elements as required.
