I'm trying to create an OAuth 2.0 application that can access our Lucidchart diagrams.

I believe,  our organization needs the Lucid Developer Platform enabled so we can create OAuth 2.0 API clients with scopes (lucidchart.document.content, user.profile, offline_access). When I try to create an OAuth 2.0 application, there is no place in the UI to add scopes.

Does something need to be enabled on our account to get these options?

Hi @seth.wilson

It looks like your ability to create an OAuth 2.0 application is blocked because developer tools are not enabled for your user.

In Lucid, OAuth clients and scopes are only available when developer tools are unlocked on a Team or Enterprise account, and then enabled for your specific user in User Settings → Developer Settings.

Please ask your Lucid account admin to enable developer tools for your organization and for your user; once that is done, you will see the options needed to create an OAuth client and use scopes such as lucidchart.document.content, user.profile, and offline_access.

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!

When I look at my user setting, I do have Developer tools checked.

And when My admin looks at my account, I have the Developer Role.

Yet, when I look in the Developer Portal, I don’t see anything that looks like a place to update scopes
