We are trying to integrate with another DevOps instance. Can you have more than one DevOps integration?

Ideally we would want different Lucid Teams to have a separate DevOps instance.

@Elsie Harrison

Yes, that is totally doable. You can have a single sign-in connected with multiple instances or different sign-ins for each instance, depending on your needs.

Hi Elise!

First of all, I’m assuming you’re referring to our Lucid Cards for Azure DevOps integration. Let me know if I misunderstood, or if you’re referring to the Lucid Cards for Azure DevOps integration label “legacy”.

With our Lucid Cards for Azure DevOps integration, each user is able to connect to the integration via the app or via the marketplace (more info here) and then link to one Azure DevOps instance (more info about linking here). Users at the same company do not have to link to the same DevOps instance. At this time, the Lucid Cards for Azure DevOps integration does not support one user being linked to two different DevOps instances. Also, unfortunately, we also currently have a bug with our unlinking flow, where users are often not able to unlink their Lucid Cards for Azure DevOps app with the DevOps instance they previously connected to (but we plan to fix this issue!).

For example, if I work at company Fun Corp, then I can link to Azure DevOps instance X and my co-worker can link to Azure DevOps instance Y. However, I myself can not be simultaneously be linked to both DevOps instance X and DevOps instance Y. Also, sadly due to the current bug, if you have previously linked to instance X, then it is unlikely you’ll be unable to unlink with instance X and then connect to instance Y. Note that having a user linked to multiple instances is something are considering adding to our roadmap, though can’t guarantee at this time that we will add this support.

Does that answer your question? Any further questions or feedback?

Thanks for being a Lucid customer!

Ian
