I’m working on a Lucid automation and the main issue staring me in the face now is the Google Sheets Auto-Sync.
I’ve noticed that it only syncs while the document is open , which doesn’t work for a one button approach that I want.
Is there a way to make the chart sync with Google Sheets even if the document is closed, I’m willing to use the API as well if necessary

Unfortunately you are correct that the data sync is only available while the document is open. There is currently no API that would allow that sync outside of a document context. I will take it back to the product team here that this is something you would desire.

So it’s basically a decentralized Organogram, where every month I have an automation running that updates my linked Google sheet and then uses the API to export the Lucid Organogram to the e-mails of those who need it
