Through the API it is possible to export a page to a png or jpeg image.
Is it also possible to export a page to PDF through the API? Or can I generate a PDF of a document or page by opening a specific URL?

Sorry for the delayed response. We do not currently offer an “export to PDF” option via the API or though the Lucid document itself. But, we are always exploring ways to expand our API support and if this changes we will reach out.

Our Enterprise Shield accounts have access to a set of legal APIs that may be helpful, particularly for legal archiving. You can reach out to a sales rep to see if Enterprise Shield is the right fit for your needs.

I’d advocate that you consider adding PDF export to API for team plan too.
I’m doing software development where textual specs are in google docs, and BPMN diagrams are in Lucid. I have an AI driven workflow where generated python code downloads documents from google, but I need to manually export the lucid diagrams as pdf. Downloaded google docs and lucid pdfs are fed to Claude Code to extract scenarios and to set up acceptance tests.

We appreciate you sharing your interest in PDF exports for Teams licenses. While we don't currently have plans to support this feature for this license, I will definitely share your feedback with the rest of the team for their consideration.
