Implementation of a Granular "Usage Data" Analytics Role for Governance

As a large enterprise customer, we require the ability to govern our software investments through granular access controls. Currently, access to "Usage Data" and license metrics is bundled exclusively within the "Account Admin" role.

Granting "Account Admin" access to personnel who only require audit and analytical capabilities creates an unnecessary security and compliance risk, as that role includes permissions to modify account-wide settings and security configurations.

We are requesting the development of a standalone "Read-Only" role that allows specific users to:

  • View and export usage metrics (active user counts, license utilization, and document activity).
  • Perform governance audits without having the ability to alter account settings or security protocols.

Providing this capability is critical for our software management lifecycle. Robust governance capabilities are a requirement for our vendor management and contract renewal processes. Please prioritize adding this granular level of access to support enterprise-level auditing needs.
