We are considering of using Lucidspark for retro activities, and I wanted to ask what is your go-to trick for making such meetings even more engaging?

I suggest you take a look at @Addie 's post here: 

She quoted a specific topic regarding Sprint Retros on it.

My suggestion, just to add to the discussion, is to:

  1. Open the template for everyone to edit in advance;
  2. Then insert the Sprint # or date that you're holding this ceremony (this is a way to use only one board for every Sprint)
  3. After all the discussion, create Kaizen topics (if you're using Jira for example) for the actions discussed.
